KCCAA Youth Hope Fund mission is to fundraise in order to help feed, generic clothe, ambulance and educate those in need around the world, especially those in areas suffering from great disaster.

KCCAA Youth Hope Fund and  its student leadership committee is a group of smart, talented, and driven students in the KC area that fund raises to help feed, clothe, and  educate other kids in need around the world, especially in areas suffering great disaster.

In the past year, Youth Hope Fund Student Leadership Committee has successfully held nine fund raising events and raised totally about $7000.

The fund raising events include:

• Passport Day bake sale led by Cassie Wang,
• Neighborhood Leaf Cleaning- Led by Kevin Li,
• Benefit Lunch at Red Ginger- Led by Cassie Wang,
• Cross Road Church Performance- Led by Cindy Wang,
• Chinese New Year Gala Fund Raising- Led by Cassie Wang,
• Dance Party Fund Raising- Led by Cindy Wang,
• Waddell & Reed Fund Raising- Led by Andy Yu ,
• Worlds of Fun Fund Raising – Led by Cynthia Wang,
• Car Wash Fund Raising – Led by Cindy Wang

Youth Hope Fund Student Leadership Committee also successfully organized four voluntary trips to help people in need:

• Teaching trip to KC Friendship School in Yanzibian, Shanxi, China,
• Two rebuilt Joplin trips to Joplin, Missouri.
• Youth Hope Fund has distributed scholarships to 16 students from KC friendship school and donated $3000 to Joplin.
